Diplomatic and Community Engagement Officer

- Role Summary: Represents UNSF in diplomatic, community, and partnership engagements; strengthens relationships with governments, private sector, and civil society to promote sustainable development.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Represent UNSF at national, regional, and international forums.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with stakeholders and institutions.
- Coordinate diplomatic events, missions, and high-level meetings.
- Develop and deliver advocacy and outreach materials.
- Prepare reports and policy briefs for UNSF leadership.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field (all disciplines welcome).
- No prior experience required; training provided by UNSF.
- Strong written and spoken English; other UN languages are an advantage.
- Applicants must be 18 years or older.
- Core Competencies:
- Excellent communication and diplomacy skills.
- Ability to build partnerships across diverse sectors.
- Professionalism, integrity, and adaptability in multicultural settings.
- Contract Details:
- Duration: 24 months, renewable based on performance.

Community Outreach Assistant

Contract Type: Two-Year Renewable (Performance-Based)
- Role Summary: Supports UNSF’s field programs by connecting communities to entrepreneurship and innovation opportunities through mobilization and outreach activities.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing local entrepreneurship and development programs.
- Mobilize youth, women, and local enterprises to engage in UNSF projects.
- Coordinate community events, training sessions, and field visits.
- Collect and manage data on community participation and outcomes.
- Promote awareness of UNSF’s grants and innovation initiatives.
- Qualifications:
- Diploma or higher qualification in any field (preferred in Social Work, Development Studies, or Business).
- No prior experience required; practical field training provided.
- Fluency in English; local languages are an advantage.
- Core Competencies:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to community service and social development.
- Contract Details:
- Duration: 24 months, renewable based on performance.
